The Italian group of companies DeLonghi is one of the largest family-owned enterprises producing household appliances. Delonghi's headquarters are located in Treviso. The company was founded in 1902 and at that time was a small workshop for the production of components and spare parts for wood-burning stoves.

The revolution in the history of the company was made by Giuseppe DeLonghi, who created an oil heater, writing his name on it as a logo. Since then, DeLonghi has reached a new level, putting aside the production of components for other customers, and began to actively develop exclusively its own production, which quickly allowed it to achieve success.

In its work, DeLonghi pays great attention to the quality of each part used, constant implementation of production of new technologies and, of course, design. Thus, the director of the DeLonghi design department, Giocomo Borin, is among the TOP 50 most influential modern designers.
